standard play
Select a playing level and press the start button to open a puzzle.

competition
If competition mode is enabled, you can open a specific puzzle. In that case, when pressing the start button, you will be asked to enter a random number and set the time limit. In this way you can compete with others. Competitors should select the same difficulty level, enter the same number, and select the same time limit. Winner is the person who will be fastest to solve the puzzle (within the specified time limit).

language
Press the book button in the tool bar to select a dictionary from a different language. This will not change the interface language, but will generate a puzzle with words in the chosen language. Press the back button to return to the start screen.

Move the letters to a position such that the rows and columns form words. First touch the letter you wish to move, and next touch the position you want it to be on. The red letters can't be moved, they are already at the correct position.
If letters form a word, the background colour of these letters is changed. This does not mean the word is used in this puzzle, just that the word is recognized. Only the dictionary form (lemma) of words are used in a puzzle.

When you are stuck you can press the left smiley for help. This will anchor the letters that are currently at the correct position, they will be painted in red. Press the right smiley to resign. This will show the solution.
If you are playing in competition mode, these buttons are disabled until the time limit is reached.
